In 2022, our advice line answered 52,337 calls about money matters from people that turned to Age UK.

We offer support through our free advice line on 0800 678 1602. Lines are open 8am-7pm, 365 days a year. We also have specialist advisers at over 120 local Age UKs.
Many programmes run by local Age UKs have helped people in local communities across the country know what they're entitled to.
Local Age UKs helped older people identify about £162 million in unclaimed benefits from March 2021 to March 2022. Friendly staff can help you complete a benefits check and fill out tricky forms.
Our Warm Home Programme completed more than 20,000 benefit checks and nearly 3,983 home energy checks, identifying more than £38 million in unclaimed benefits.
It's just as important to keep what money you do have safe. Our scams programme helps people spot the warning signs and avoid being scammed.
