Age UK, in conjunction with The Forum of Mobility Centres and Mobility Choice, charity organiser's of The Mobility Roadshow, would like to invite all consumers, trade representatives and healthcare professionals interested in driving options and future opportunities for older people. A series of informative sessions have been arranged to take place during the day discussing driving challenges and mobility choices.

Visitors may pre-register to attend the conference for the whole day or select one or more sessions of interest. With several guest speakers contributing to each session, attendees will gain vital driving advice and information along with the opportunity to ask questions.

The day will commence at 10am with a welcoming reception in the Silverstone Wing followed by a keynote address from Elizabeth Box, Head of Research RAC Foundation, entitled "Dispelling the Myths about Older Drivers".

Further contributors will include expert advisors from leading vehicle manufacturers, the Department of Transport, Transport Focus and The General Medical Council as well as organisations from The Forum of Mobility Centres amongst others.

The session focuses on helping older people correctly decide when it is time to cease driving and provides alternative options showing why giving up needn't be the end of the road.
