Calling all Waitrose shoppers!

If you shop at Waitrose.com between Thursday 8 March until the end of May, please use your green token at the end of your shop to support Age UK!
In its 'Community Matters' scheme, Waitrose selects three charities to support each month. Customers shopping in store are then given a green token they can use to vote for which of the three charities they want to receive a donation from Waitrose. At the end of the month Waitrose's donation is divided up in proportion to the number of tokens a charity has received.
Waitrose has now taken their green token 'Community Matters' scheme on to the internet to allow those people that do their shopping online to also participate in the scheme.
From Thursday 8 March until the end of May, Age UK is one of the charities that Waitrose is supporting through its Community Matters scheme.
Over this period there is £25,000 which is to be split between The Marine Conservation Society, Mencap and Age UK. The amount of money we receive is proportional to the amount of virtual tokens we receive.
So if you already shop with Waitrose online or you're tempted to try it - please choose Age UK as the beneficiary of your green token at the end of your shop.
