Age NI Named As The Housing Executive’s New Chosen Charity

Age NI has been chosen as The Northern Ireland Housing Executive’s new nominated charity.

Every two years the Housing Executive nominates a charity to support through events, activities and payroll giving. Age NI was selected as the latest recipient by its charity fundraising committee, a group which is made up of staff from across the organisation.

Age NI is the leading charity in Northern Ireland dedicated to helping everyone make the most of later life and each year it helps thousands of older people across the province.

Linda Robinson, the CEO of Age NI said, ''Age NI is thrilled to be chosen as the Housing Executive’s new nominated charity. We look forward to working with the fundraising committee over the next two years on a range of events and activities that will help Age NI provide advice, care, and support to older people when it’s needed most.’’ 

The Housing Executive’s objective is to ensure everyone has access to decent, affordable housing and it works with communities and other organisations to meet the housing needs of existing and future generations.
