James Brown & Sons

James Brown & Sons are directly supporting health and well-being activities in Skainos Day Centre, Belfast. Having asked the older people supported weekly by the Centre, Wendy the Manager highlighted specific activities including story-telling, exercise, healthy eating and interactive fun and games.

Sessions planned provide a focus for engagement and provide a safe platform for older people who have become friends through attending the day service – for many the day service is their only activity during the week and we will use this opportunity to ensure that the older people we support get the emotional care they need to help them manage their lives.

Beverley recently visited the Centre where she took part in Pictionary and met service users and staff. We all truly value such personal support.
