In Memory
Asking family, friends and colleagues to donate to Age NI instead of leaving flowers is a very special way to celebrate the life of a loved one.
Every donation is a tribute and will have lasting benefits, helping Age NI provide advice, care and support when it’s needed most.
How to ask for in memory donations?
If you would like to arrange in memory donations, your Funeral Director can advise you on the wording for your newspaper announcement, or the Order of Service.
For example:
‘Family flowers only. Donations instead of flowers if desired to …’ or
‘No flowers please. Donations if desired to
Age NI, 3 Lower Crescent, Belfast, BT7 1NR’
If you prefer, please visit Age NI www.ageni.org to donate.
Acknowledging donations
We work closely with your Funeral Director to acknowledge every gift made with a personal letter of thanks from us.
If you donate online, please remember to leave your contact details and who you are donating in memory of so we can say a proper thank you at such a difficult time.
Fundraising In Memory

Create a tribute fund
A tribute fund is an online memorial dedicated to your loved one. Share memories, stories, photographs and messages, and give friends and family the opportunity to make donations in a special, enduring place to celebrate their life.
Set up a fundraising page
A fundraising page can help you collect donations in memory.
Dedicate a run, walk, swim or event to your loved one, and share updates and photos of your fundraising journey.
