General Election 2019 - Act 4 Age
On 12th December 2019, voters in Northern Ireland will go to the polls to choose M Ps to represent them at Westminster. Our ageing population presents many opportunities and challenges for our society - for employers, the economy, as well as the welfare, housing, health and social care systems.
Age NI is calling on all candidates and political parties in this general election to #Act4Age19 on the issues that matter to older people today and tomorrow. Everybody should be able to enjoy the dignified, secure and fulfilling later life that we all want for ourselves and those we love.
By acting together in this election, we can make sure that our new Government makes older people’s issues a priority. See below our Priorities for the General Election 2019
Our Priorities for Action

We believe that everybody should be able to live in an age-friendly world that enables people of all ages to participate in the life of their local community, connected to each other and to opportunities in their local area, valued for the contribution they can and do make to their local community. As a M.P. you will have a key role to play in delivering on our ambition of achieving better outcomes for older people.
