Seeds for Bees
Age NI's new sustainability project, Seeds for Bees, is supported by Energia’s Greener Possibilities Fund.
This project is aimed at protecting bees and promoting awareness of the critical role that bees play in everything from food production to the survival of native wildlife, birds and plants.
People across Northern Ireland will be planting wildflowers to help bees thrive in the wild, offering nectar and pollen as a source of food as well as somewhere for them to rest.
Not only is the planting of seeds good for the environment and sustainability – but it’s also a wonderful way to relax and relieve stress. Planting, growing and observing nature is proven to have mental health benefits too!

Share your flower and bee photos
Once your wildflowers have bloomed - and hopefully attracted some bees - we’d love it if you could share some photographs with us so we can see how they look!
