Mid-Career Review Webinars
More than 50% of us haven’t thought much about our hopes or ambitions for life after 60. Yet a high sense of control over this life transition results in better outcomes once in retirement.
Business in the Community’s Mid-Career Review Webinars offer an opportunity for you to reflect and consider inter-linked areas of your life and start planning for a positive future. These free webinars provide an overview of four keys areas: job/career, health and wellbeing, finance and work-life balance to help you feel more confident and informed about choices you may want to make. The webinars are part of the Age at Work programme, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund and you must be aged 50+ and over and either in employment or actively seeking employment to participate.
Benefits of attending a Mid-Career Review Webinar include:
- Opportunity to reflect and consider wants and needs for the future
- Enhanced confidence to focus on plans and make changes
- More informed on where to seek further guidance on relevant topics
- Increased resilience to deal with personal and professional challenges
- Help to improve health and wellbeing.
Age-Inclusive Business Review
There are many benefits of an age diverse and inclusive workplace. We encourage employers to complete this FREE, online, self-assessment tool to help identify gaps and highlight strengths in relation to being an age-inclusive and age-friendly employer.
The questions in the Review are best completed by an HR or Diversity and Inclusion representative in your organisation. It will take approximately 20 minutes to complete, and you will receive a bespoke recommendations report for your organisation.
By developing an effective age action plan, your organisation and its workforce can benefit from a better work-life balance, increased retention, enhanced staff engagement and more satisfied and productive workers.
