Media Invitation - Age Cymru’s Nordic Walk - Monday 30 September 2019 – 10am

The Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism Dafydd Elis-Thomas will start the walk

Reporters, film crews and photographers are invited to cover our Nordic Walking event that forms part of our celebrations for Age Positive Week. More than 50 older people from Cardiff and the surrounding areas are expected to take part in this annual event. There will be a warm up session outside the pub where reporters can mingle with participants before they set off on either a one or two hour walk. With the older people dressed in their colourful walking gear against the back drop of Cardiff Bay there will be ample opportunities to film striking footage and take wonderful photographs.
