Letter to editors: Over 50s invited to complete Age Cymru’s What Matters to You survey

We wish to invite your readers aged 50 or over to complete our fourth annual survey to help us gain an insight into their current challenges, needs, and aspirations.

The information from previous surveys has helped us to inform and influence key decision makers and service providers such as the Welsh Government, local health and social services, and other key stakeholders. They’ve also helped us to campaign on the issues that matter most to older people.

The 2023 survey delves into the experiences of people receiving health and social care, and those waiting for such services. It looks into the lives of unpaid older carers and the experiences of people aged 50 or over in the workplace, including those seeking work in later life. It also investigates several other key areas affecting older people.

How to complete our survey 

• Visit agecymru.org.uk/annualsurvey to complete the survey online   
• Call 029 2043 1555 for a paper copy of the survey, in English or Welsh, and return via our freepost address: Age Cymru, FREEPOST RTZG-JHGC-RYJJ, Mariners House, Trident Court, East Moors Road, Cardiff CF24 5TD
