Age Cymru's response to the tragic case of Joy Worrell

"No one should have to endure the awful turmoil that the late Joy Worrell did during the later stages of her life and our deepest sympathies go out to her family.

"We would urge anyone who is suddenly faced with a life changing incident, such as a sudden drop in their income, to seek help and not suffer in silence.

"Support charities like Age Cymru have experts who are there to help guide you through such difficulties, figure out if there has been a mistake, and help you to challenge these decisions.

"But if you can't for some reason contact a charity then please speak to a friend or a trusted relative."
