The suggested legal wording below will assist your solicitor in drawing up or amending your will to include your gift to help our vital work.

We have provided wordings below for the different types of gift you can leave to Age Cymru:

• A share of what's left of your estate once you have provided for your loved ones (a residuary gift)
• A fixed sum of money (a pecuniary gift)
• a named item (a specific gift)

Wording for a residuary gift

I give the residue of my estate to Age Cymru, Ground Floor, Mariners House, Trident Court, East Moors Road, Cardiff, CF24 5TD (Registered Charity Number 1128436) for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the Chief Executive or other proper officer of the said charity for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said gift.

Wording for a pecuniary or specific gift

I give the sum of £_____ (or the item specified) to Age Cymru, Ground Floor, Mariners House, Trident Court, East Moors Road, Cardiff, CF24 5TD. (Registered Charity Number 1128436) for its general charitable purposes. I further direct that the receipt of the Chief Executive or other proper officer of the said charity for the time being shall be a full and sufficient discharge for the said gift.
