National organisations for older people
The Engagement Team works with a number of national older people’s organisations, providing secretariat support:
Wales Seniors Forum
Wales Seniors Forum is a national forum of older people made up of representatives from various national pensioners organisations and older people's groups. The aims of the Forum are:
- to work together for the benefit of all pensioners in Wales and
- to add equality, dignity and respect to ageing and enhance the quality of later life.

National Pensioners Convention (NPC) Wales
The National Pensioners Convention is an umbrella organisation made up of affiliated organisations and individual supporters. NPC UK has a number of regions of which Wales is one. NPC Wales has affiliates from unions, retired member groups, and individuals who are concerned for the well being of pensioners.

Active Wales : Retired from Work, not from Life
Active Wales is the new name for the National Old Age Pensioners Association of Wales. They are the oldest and largest wholly voluntary pensioners’ organisation in Wales, founded in 1939. Active Wales is primarily a campaigning organisation, striving to improve the quality of life for all pensioners.

Cymru Older People's Alliance (COPA)
COPA is a charity run by older people for older people. Its main purpose is to ensure that older people’s forums and groups at a local level can have their voice heard at the national level and their views represented to Welsh Government and a range of other public bodies.
